For lange ski g\u00f8r det ofte sv\u00e6rere at dreje, pl\u00f8je og stoppe, is\u00e6r i kuperet terr\u00e6n. Traditionelt blev mange skil\u00f8bere r\u00e5det til at st\u00e5 p\u00e5 ski \"lidt over hovedet\" i klassisk skil\u00f8b, fordi l\u00e6ngere ski ofte giver bedre retningsstabilitet og kan give mere glid, n\u00e5r teknikken er p\u00e5 plads.<\/p>\n<p>I dag er r\u00e5dgivningen mere situationsbestemt. Tr\u00e6nere og butikker understreger ofte vigtigheden af mestring: B\u00f8rn, der er ved at l\u00e6re at g\u00e5 diagonalt, pl\u00f8je og lave enkle sving, f\u00e5r normalt mere ud af en lidt kortere ski, der er lettere at kontrollere. I klassisk skil\u00f8b er en almindelig kontrol, at skien \"glider\", n\u00e5r barnet st\u00e5r med v\u00e6gten p\u00e5 begge ski, men at fastg\u00f8relsesomr\u00e5det kommer ned, n\u00e5r barnet st\u00e5r p\u00e5 den ene ski. Dette kan testes med papir eller med butikkens m\u00e5leudstyr.<\/p>\n<p>For b\u00f8rn, der st\u00e5r mest p\u00e5 ski, er sikkerhed vigtigere end maksimalt glid. En lidt kortere sk\u00f8jteski giver ofte bedre kontrol over frasparket og mindre \"hakken\" i skridtet. Overvej ogs\u00e5 skiens bredde og sidecut: En lidt bredere b\u00f8rneski kan f\u00f8les mere stabil end en smal racerski i samme l\u00e6ngde.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"styrker-og-svakheter\" class=\"joli-heading jtoc-heading\">STYRKER OG SVAGHEDER<\/h2>\n<p>N\u00e5r l\u00e6ngden og sp\u00e6ndvidden er rigtig, bliver de grundl\u00e6ggende bev\u00e6gelser mere stabile: diagonalgang med balance, sildeben op ad bakke og sikker pl\u00f8jning ned ad bakke. Barnets skil\u00f8b bliver mere j\u00e6vnt, og sm\u00f8ring eller f\u00e6lder opf\u00f8rer sig mere forudsigeligt, fordi trykket i fastg\u00f8relsesomr\u00e5det er mere korrekt.<\/p>\n<p>For lange ski giver ofte specifikke problemer: Spidserne bliver tungere at styre, skiene krydser lettere p\u00e5 underlaget, og ploven kan f\u00f8les tr\u00e6g, fordi skiene ikke kommer hurtigt nok ud af V'et. Resultatet er ofte flere fald og lavere hastighed, men vigtigst af alt kan barnet miste lysten til at st\u00e5 p\u00e5 ski.<\/p>\n<p>For korte ski kan resultere i mindre stabilitet og en kortere glidefase. I klassisk skil\u00f8b kan skien stoppe hurtigere i uj\u00e6vnheder, og i sk\u00f8jtel\u00f8b kan der v\u00e6re mindre ro i afs\u00e6ttet, n\u00e5r hastigheden \u00f8ges. Stol ikke p\u00e5 h\u00f8jden alene: To b\u00f8rn med samme h\u00f8jde kan have forskellig v\u00e6gt og styrke og har derfor brug for forskellige intervaller (og nogle gange forskellige l\u00e6ngder inden for intervallet).<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"slik-vises-det-i-kamper-og-nyheter\" class=\"joli-heading jtoc-heading\">HVORDAN DET SER UD I KAMPE OG NYHEDER<\/h2>\n<p>I klubregi kommer emnet ofte op f\u00f8r turl\u00f8b og b\u00f8rneskil\u00f8b, is\u00e6r n\u00e5r der tales om d\u00e5rligt greb p\u00e5 pister eller b\u00f8rn, der bliver unormalt tr\u00e6tte p\u00e5 underlag. Det er ofte ikke et sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l om indsats, men en kombination af sp\u00e6nding, sm\u00f8ring\/f\u00e6lder og en l\u00e6ngde, der ikke passer til f\u00e6rdigheden eller terr\u00e6net.<\/p>\n<p>I l\u00f8bet af s\u00e6sonen bliver forskellige fejl tydelige p\u00e5 forskellige dage. Tidlig vinter med varierende forhold afsl\u00f8rer ofte forkert sp\u00e6nding og tryk i fastg\u00f8relsesomr\u00e5det. N\u00e5r forholdene stabiliserer sig, bliver l\u00e6ngde og stabilitet mere synlige p\u00e5 nedk\u00f8rsler og overflader. I rekrutteringsgrupper prioriterer tr\u00e6nerne normalt kontrol og sikkerhed, mens mere erfarne b\u00f8rn gradvist bev\u00e6ger sig mod l\u00e6ngder, der giver bedre glid, s\u00e5 l\u00e6nge de stadig kan bremse og dreje med kontrol.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"hvorfor-er-dette-verdt-a-forsta\" class=\"joli-heading jtoc-heading\">HVORFOR ER DET V\u00c6RD AT FORST\u00c5?<\/h2>\n<p>Den rigtige l\u00e6ngde og det rigtige sp\u00e6nde kan afg\u00f8re, om dit barn f\u00e5r en god skioplevelse eller ej. N\u00e5r udstyret passer, er barnet mere selvsikkert p\u00e5 nedk\u00f8rsler og har et bedre flow p\u00e5 flade pister. Det g\u00f8r det ogs\u00e5 lettere at komme med til tr\u00e6ning og p\u00e5 ture.<\/p>\n<p>Det handler ogs\u00e5 om penge. Mange v\u00e6lger ski med lidt plads til at vokse, men forskellen mellem \"lidt\" og \"for meget\" kan hurtigt m\u00e6rkes p\u00e5 nedk\u00f8rsler og i plovfurer.
